I am from Crookwell NSW in the Southern Tablelands. I grew up on my family property, which mainly farmed merino sheep. I have always loved agriculture and have been involved in helping on the farm for as long as I can remember. More recently I have been involved with cattle, particularly Herefords and have been apart of the stud cattle game. I am the secretary for the Southern NSW Hereford group. I am currently in my last year of uni where I am studying a double degree of PDHPE teaching and Ag teaching as well as a Certificate III in Religion.
I have been involved in the Crookwell Show society for many years as a beef cattle steward and was the 2016 Crookwell Show Girl. I more recently have been involved in organising the Young Farmer Challenge.
I love country shows as they are a means for education, communicating and networking as well as a way to promote local skills and talents. I am passionate about educating youth in regards to agriculture and believe it is extremely important to encourage youth involvement in the country show movement for the future
